Ladbrokes Poker Review
Ladbrokes is a British gambling company that was originally founded in 1886. Yes, that’s correct, Ladbrokes has been around for over 125 years!
Ladbrokes is listed in the London Stock Exchange and is a member of the FTSE 250 Index. Ladbrokes is the largest betting company in the UK and largest retail bookmaker in the world, owning over 2,400 retail betting shops between the UK and Ireland, plus betting shops in Spain and Belgium.
Ladbrokes is also a very popular online destination offering sports betting, casino games, bingo, backgammon, financial betting, and, of course, poker.
Ladbrokes Poker Bonus
Ladbrokes Poker invites new players to try the service by extending them a welcome bonus. The bonus requires a £5 minimum deposit and is worth 200 percent of that deposit up to £1200. In other words, if a new client deposits £5, then he’s able to claim a £10 bonus, and if he were to deposit £400, then he’d able to claim a maximum £1200 bonus.
How to Claim the Ladbrokes Poker Welcome Bonus
• Navigate to poker.ladbrokes.com.
• Click the REGISTER NOW button.
• Create a new account with a valid email address.
• Confirm the new account via email.
• Click on the Banking link on the Ladbrokes homepage.
• Make a deposit of at least £5.
Ladbrokes Poker does not award you the welcome bonus immediately. Instead, you receive it in five increments by earning poker points. If your available bonus is £5, then you’ll receive it in five £1 increments, and if your bonus is £1200, then you’ll receive it in five £200 increments.
In order to release a bonus allotment, you must earn 32 poker points per $1 USD or currency equivalent. To receive the full bonus of $2000 or £1200, you would need to earn a total of 64,000 poker points.
Note that you have 60 days from the deposit to claim the bonus money. After that point, any remaining bonus money, including any partially cleared, is no longer available.
What are Poker Points?
Poker points are the currency of the Ladbrokes Poker loyalty program. Each time a player earns a poker point, it serves three purposes:
• It counts toward the wagering requirement of any available bonus money.
• It counts toward achieving greater status for the player: Bronze, Silver, Gold or VIP.
• It’s available to spend in the Ladbrokes poker shop for merchandise or tournament buy-ins.
During cash games, Ladbrokes awards you poker points at a rate of 10 points per $1 (or currency equivalent) each time it rakes a pot that you’ve contributed to. For tournaments, Ladbrokes awards you poker points at a rate of 10 points per $1 each time you pay a tournament fee. Ladbrokes Poker does award fractional points.
The Ladbrokes welcome bonus is equivalent to a 31.25% rakeback scheme, because for every $3.20 spent in rake/fees, you will receive $1 back in bonus funds.
Other Ladbrokes Poker Promotions
At the time of this writing, Ladbrokes is also offering a £20 free package to any new player who deposits at least £10. This bonus is in addition to the standard welcome bonus described above. In other words, if you deposit £10, you’ll get the £20 welcome bonus and the £20 free poker package.
The additional £20 is paid in eight €2.50+0.25 tournament tickets, and it does not having a wagering requirement on those tickets or any winnings derived from them.
Ladbrokes Poker Software Features
The Ladbrokes Poker software is based on Microgaming’s platform, which is among the best in the business. Users can play instantly through the website or can download and install either the mobile app or the desktop client. The software is compatible with most popular assistants, such as Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker 3. Other popular features include multi-table play and Blaze Poker.
The Ladbrokes Poker download is 11 MB, and offers some great features such as a buddy list, a Poker Shop to buy cool gadgets with your poker points, the “PokerBet” game which allows you to side bet on which seat will win the pot, hand histories, Bad Beat jackpots, a hot button to play casino games, and much more!
Microgaming powered poker sites – like Ladbrokes Poker – all have Blaze Poker tables available.
Blaze Poker is a poker option at Ladbrokes that allows you to join a room rather than a table. The advantage of this format is that you move on to a new table as soon as you fold, which allows you to get a lot of poker play out of the time you have available. Ladbrokes also allows you to play at multiple Blaze tables at a time, which many other poker rooms that support this kind of format do not allow. Blaze Poker supports all of the games and stakes that Ladbrokes normally supports, and during peak periods, there can be hundreds and even thousands of players to a particular zone.
Don’t forget to check out the other aspects of Ladbrokes – they have some great casino jackpots and sports book promotions!

I really like Ladbrokes poker - i think the competition is soft with most players being punters and not real poker players so they go on tilt easy and lose quickly. Software is also good with no disconnects.
